What's a good portable charger for inside use for an iPad? I'll be using it for phones too sometimes.
I've been reading reviews for chargers here and on sites and I have not seen any that did not have multiple problems charging phones or lasting only a short while.

I use Anker power banks. They are reliable and have a good reputation.
Pick the capacity (mAh) according to how heavy your current use of the internal iPad battery is (i.e. not just time spent using, but also lighting conditions, use of sound etc: all the things that impact battery life) and how often you want to recharge the power pack.
For example, 26800mAh or thereabouts would be a good capacity for an iPad but when run down, they take many hours to fully recharge. A unit with around 10000mAh (I wouldn't go lower than that) won't last as long but the recharge is quicker.
If you want constant availability you might want to buy two units.

Go to the Apple website>Accessories
Scroll down the page a little & in the Find the accessories you're looking for search field type: Scosche BaseLynx Vertical Charging Station.
If the above is not to your liking, type iPad chargers in the search field.

Mindy I too have ankor charges from Amazon and have been using for a long time. They are very highly rated. I have them for iPad, iPhone and even one for my mac. I carry a smaller one in my purse.
I have a thing about losing power and not having a working phone. (no generator and live alone) Ideally at least one per phone is a good idea.
I bought a Halo from Q once and it's in the garbage.

I went to the Apple Store for a new charger and purchased one for $20 (I think that's what I paid).
HOWEVER, it still TAKES FOREVER (like over 1 hour) to fully charge my IPad.

Thanks to everyone that responded. I think I'll get an Anker from Amazon. I've checked out a few models. I really appreciate the help.

Care is needed with buying non-Apple chargers. Some will overheat and possibly kill the battery or the computer.
