Need Suggestions for Halloween Costume

I am thinking about participating in our YMCA's Halloween Fun Run, and they like participants to wear costumes.  I am not a costume person and that has always kept me from doing this 5K.

Does anyone have suggestions that would be festive but subdued, if that makes sense?  I am thinking black leggings and maybe a theme top, even though we do get a tee shirt.

Any suggestions are appreciated.  I do not believe that I can wear a witch hat, but I might think about it.  Thanks!

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!

@SXMGirl - How about going as Mrs. Incredible (Elastigirl) from The Incredibles.  Fairly easy costume, you're a super hero, and "no capes."  Whatever costume you choose, have fun!

Go to Pinterest. The choices are endless. Some so easy and cute also.

Wrong is still wrong just because you benefited from it.

@SXMGirl  Good for you!  Any costume you choose will be wonderful, I'm sure!  After reading your thoughts about the black leggings and theme top, I immediately thought of a 1980's theme.  We had an '80's day last year at school where the teachers dressed up.  I found some fairly inexpensive items at Party City.  Good luck on the costume and the run!Cat Very Happy

@IlliniGirl88@Katcat1@Pandalady@Nancy Drew.  Thanks for your great suggestions.  I will be checking out Pinterest.  For some reason, I never think of that until I get an e-mail from them.   Maybe I will be Mrs. Incredible, because it will be incredible if I finish.
