Hi everyone. I'm wanting to buy an As Is Peace Love World Throw....but I'm sceptical buying blankets, bedding, ect., with concerns for the condition in might arrive in....not wanting any "critters" to deal with. Has anyone ordered an As Is blanket...any advice? TIA 😊😊

I have not but if the price is great why not.I think you could get critters from parcels that have been sitting in warehouses or delivery trucks anyhow.I would wash the blanket before using it.

I dont use anything I get As Is without washing it first. Buy it, wash it in hot water and you'll be fine. If you are really concerned add white vinegar in with the hot water and detergent.

Don't wash & dry a Peace, Love  world throw on hot- you will destroy it!

Other ways to kill any possible bugs: If there are freezing temps overnight you can leave it outdoors. Alternately, you can leave it in a sealed, dark trash bag for a few weeks. Just don't throw it out!

Re: Need Advice on an As Is...

Dont be afraid of ordering the peace love world blankets at the as is price, I have ordered and received six blankets from this line, all at the as is price and all ordered within the last two months. They have came wrapped like new, still tied with the bow ribbon. I have washed all six on gentle cycle in cold water, then air dry in the dryer. The two heavier ones, cable knit, after air drying I layed those flat on the laudry room floor to dry. I got two of the bigger throws, popcorn looking fabric, those are lighter and dry easier. And then I got two of the shag thows. I actually ordered another shag one for a gift, a friend of mine that just got out of the hospital and is going to be laid up for three months. I love all of them. The cable knit is not as soft as the other two, but heavier for warmth. I had read all the reviews, and was a little nervous about a chemical smell and the blankets shedding, ect. But I have had no problem with mine. Very cozy blankets. The popcorn bigger blanket, would be great for summer when you have the air on and you just need a little cozy, it is the most delicate out of the blankets I orderd, I love it.
