Need Advice...Funeral

A good friend of mine, ex-husband died unexpectedly today. She lives several states away and I won't be able to attend the funeral. Here's the catch...they had been divorced for many years, but two years ago, for financial reasons, she moved in to his townhouse. So, in addition to being the "ex" she was also his roommate. I don't have much money, but would like to do something thoughtful for her. Any recommendations?
