This is available on many news outlets........this is only one. First heard it on morning news today.

Well, that's not exactly breaking news even if it was on the news. This is the tip of the iceberg, ultimately there will hundres to thousands of people with the virus in every single state by June. The vast majority will get no symptoms at all or flu symptoms. The "countdowns" work for the media but they are useless for the rest of us. We all know what we should be doing or not doing. I did notice that they added "stop watching news coverage" to those things.

The "countdowns" aren't from the media. They're from public health professionals.
If you wish to "stop watching news", maybe you should include watching posts about the virus here.

People need to get information. I use CDC And WHO and NIh. They give true info. Government does not.

@mommcdonnel
FYI, if you are following CDC and NIH, those agencies ARE government agencies that our tax dollars support, because they are U.S. government agencies.
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
Dr. Anthony Fauci of NIH (seen on TV every single day, it seems) is the lead U.S. government person overseeing this entire virus issue. He is head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
NIH includes many other research institutes devoted to all types of disease, from heart disease, to digestive disease to lung disease, to cancer, and on and on beyond that.
For you to think that "government does not give true information"......say what??? Where else does any information like that come from?

I think I know who you are refering to.

I think you might be referring to the public misperception that statements from politicians have anything to do with the work of hardworking career professionals and scientists in federal agencies which has nothing to do with politics.
If that's what you meant, I certainly agree.

So does Kentucky and Indiana. Heard it on the news last night.
