Well now, a good memory I do have, too.  And you are right, it can at times, feel like a curse.  Some of the things you wish you could forget just doesn't happen...

@CrazyKittyLvr2   You may have hidden talents that you don't know about yet.  The more things you try you might be surprised at the hidden talents you have.  ,Talents can be giving great advice, problem solving, being detail oriented, etc.  I have no talent in the neat, orderly and cleaning  departments but so many do.   

Don't ask me how I know I can do this but I can write forward with one hand and backward with the other  hand at the same time.   Useless but still a talent!

Ask friends and family and they will probably be able to name many talents you have.

I have a good eye for interior design and would have been good at coordinating a woman's wardrobe selectiing outfits, shoes, etc.  When it comes to sewing I am just like you, and not into crafts at all.  Wish I could knit.  My mother could sew, knit & crochet and loved doing it all.

The only talent I have is I'm clumsy. Always have been. My Dad always said " She can trip over the flowers in carpet"  🤣🤣🤣🤣

Im SURE you have some talents, you never explored yet!  
I can seriously move, good rhythm, love aerobics, Zumba, yoga, anything, LOVE it, and am compelled to move daily... And I have an amazing memory, kinda photographic, and a passion for science (I work in pharma research) .  But I have NO patience and sometimes miss details, speeding through everything...  and I have some fears, so I stay home a lot-

Everyone has gifts.  You just have to find yours.  Not every gift or talent has to be in the arts, science, literature, etc.

I'd love to be able to sing but can't carry a tune in a bucket.  I'd love to be able to draw but can barely draw a stick figure.  I haven't invented a cure for cancer or alzheimer's.  I haven't written a best selling book.

Looking back over my life (I'm retired), I can see I had many gifts.  It is often hard to recognize them at the time.

To me, the most important gifts are...

• kindness to strangers
• patience
• tolerance
• non-judgmental
• love without conditions
• acceptance of people who are a different ethnicity, race, gender, etc
• helping the disabled, elderly, poor, refugee, sick, etc
• finding ways to fight for justice
• donating time and/or money to charities
• doing our civic duties
• forgiveness

I know that we've all been given some talents. Some are way more evident than others!  Such as dancing, singing, painting, athletics, musical instruments, etc.  I, however, have yet to find what mine are at the ripe age of 67!  

When I was a very young child, I always wanted to play piano, and take dancing lessons, such as ballet and tap.  I also loved to sing -- not anywere in public -- but at home --- I sang and sang!  But we could not afford any lessons.  I watched quite a few classmates and friends who were able to take various lessons and felt rather sad, but also was happy for them and enjoyed their talents.  But secretly thought - with lessons could I have done those things and maybe even better?  Just ruminations from an old lady- LOL! 

I do think though that a person is born with certain talents but that they do need to be developed, cultivated and nurtured.  

The only things I can think of that I have - although I am not certain they can be considered as "talents", probably more like "traits" -- I am very patient, I listen well, try to offer advice when needed, and not be judgmental.  Also, I think I am a good friend. At least I try to be, as I feel I am loyal and kind.
