Natural Born Talents, I Have None.

Some people are born with great voices, the ability to play instruments, dance beautifully or paint masterpieces.

I can do none of it. Singing, yikes, no. Riverdance is never going to call me. I have trouble playing a radio and I draw stick figures. I can sew a button on but that's it.

Yes, you can take lessons for these things but I think you need some natural talent.

I play several instruments: flute, piano, sax (preferably tenor but I can also play alto), and piccolo (which is like a small flute).

Can't draw worth a darn. Wish I could sing, but not all that great at it.

@CrazyKittyLvr2 You don't have to be born with a talent; you can develop skills that enable you to sew, do art and crafts or any number of things. You don't have to perform on a professional level to enjoy an activity. You've got many years ahead of you in retirement. What are you going to do with them? Now's the time to get busy and find an activity you enjoy. You might need to try several before finding the right fit. You'll be very bored if you don't find something to do. Call your senior center and sign up for something.

yes. i was born with artistic talent. i think its genetic. my mom was also naturally artistic. we could both naturally draw.

Everyone's has talents and they differ from person to person. Talents aren't always artsy like singing and dancing or painting.

Maybe you can rock a baby to sleep when others have failed or help somone learn to do something are struggling with. Perhaps you are a good listener or a great writer.

Can you cook or bake? Furnish and decorate a home? Make people laugh?

I can multi task well. I can read a book while I watch TV or while I am talking on the phone. I can carry on a conversation while typing something unrelated.

I have a super sonic memory and my hearing is fantastic. I can really hear a pin drop.

These aren't talents that people notice, but they are unique to me. I am grateful for them.
