Here we have a bald eagle stealing fish from a fisherman in Alaska.  They say they're so powerful and aggressive, they usually just let them have it.  The fisherman kept pushing the bird away but he was persistent and got his fish....fileted no less.

It is nearly impossible to fight off sea gulls.  No way I would even think of denying an eagle, not even one that appears to be comfortable around humans.

Beautiful birds, strong and proud!  I'm glad the fisherman let the Eagle have a snack and no harm resulted to either!

They are beautiful. We have a pair that nests near our home.

I just feel sorry for all of the small creatures, when they're on the prowl!

Eagles are so magestic.  They are huge and extremely strong.  They are also protected, so they can pretty much do whatever they want to do and you can't defend against them.

There are a huge numbers of them at our summer place.  It is interesting to watch them fish, but sad to watch them grab the ducks, bunnies and household pets.

We do not allow our dogs outside alone.  They would be taken in a heartbeat.  Every year, we watch them grab the bunnies and other small animals from the farmer's fields from our deck.

In person they are much bigger than they look.  They are huge with their wide wing spans...scary too.
