The police have my sympathy during this time because there are so many protests at universities.  Hopefully they won't get hurt trying to control the "demonstrations".

Thank you @Carolina925  for sharing this.  My nephew is a deputy  back home in Ohio.  I pray everyday for his safety and all the men and women who keep us safe.

During a riot, police were beaten and maimed by thugs who have now been convicted and imprisoned. What a slap in the face to all law emforcement to talk of pardoning those criminals. Even worse to deify them with videos and social media promotion. Talk about zero respect.

Please continue to pray for all Law Enforcement. My daughter and. Son in law are Chicago Police Officers. We too lost another officer in April. He was ambushed coming home from his shift. Fourth funeral in three years. Breaks my heart.
They work hard, and they get very little support. Yet, when people are in crisis... they dial 911.

Just the other day the radio station I listen to was broadcasting the wife of a fallen police officer talking at his funeral. It was heartbreaking. Her husband and her got in an argument that morning and that was the last time they spoke. Her friend told her officers had been shot and she kept calling her husband but got no answer. I don’t know how she got through her eulogy without falling apart.
