Sixty five is young today, so it is sad.  If it's true, it wasn't anywhere in the news.

OMG!  So sad!!!

65 is not that old, either.

My mom was 65 when she died, and she also died of congestive heart failure, just like Natalie did.

I hope she did not suffer any pain.  Prayers to her family and loved ones. She will on forever through her beautiful music.

Yes, 65 is young (I just turned 64 and my adopted grandson was writing in his diary that he hopes I stay alive a long time. Sheesh, kid, I'm in superb health!)

She unfortunately compromised her health by drug use, hence the Hep C and then the transplant does lower your resistance to things and provides complications. Like her dad (smoking was his vice) --health was compromised and didn't have to be. Very sad. She was a fabulous singer and really struggled to get her life back in order.

When I was really young in the Fifties, I loved music (as a young child) and Nat King Cole was my favorite. Like a lot of people, I bought that album of duets she produced with tracks mixed from her dad.

RIP.

I remember her and Greg Allman went public together about each having hep c a few years ago.

The noon news said she had a kidney transplant.  I know Greg had a liver transplant.

I didn't hear that it was congestive heart.
