You're the one who started this thread, and kept harping on it.
You're just upset that 99% of the responses were not "Oh, poor baby! How dare the big, bad, mean, evil, bully QVC do that to you!".
You thought that you were going to get sympathy, and was shocked to get called out on to the carpet instead.
Too bad.
That's the risk one takes when one starts a thread.
The title of this thread is Nasty Letter, but this post is a Nasty Response.

Haven't received a warning letter, but at one point, I was so disgusted at QVC's overall quality control, I counted how many returned vs how many kept. 40% returned during 2019!!!!
About 1% of the clothing was because I didn't like how it looked on me. All others were inconsistent, poor quality, and sizing issues. Should I keep a suede jacket that looked like it was tie-dyed or a top that actually measured two sizes smaller than QVC's chart?
Don't let others here reprimand you for not looking at QVC's sizing chart because what you actually receive may not match those measurements.
I received some real winners wondering how QVC could possibly send something like this to customers. I won't go into detail because I have several times on here. There are posters here who don't believe those of us who have had numerous problems.
I tried a few things the past few months. A miracle happened, I only had to return two pieces of clothing that measured wrong; however, not so lucky with Christmas decor.
I decided most of QVC's clothing is not for me and I shop elsewhere. I suggest you do the same.

This is why I don't buy clothing and shoes from here. I would never pay the double shipping, and I could never guess, even with all the sizing info provided, if something will really fit and feel good until I try it on. I think there are a lot of people like me, that need/want to try things on, or at the very least have hassle free no cost returns.
The issue I have when people report getting 'the letter', is that the hosts stand on air and state 'if you aren't happy for any reason, you can return with no questions asked'.
They never say, you can only return a certain amount. If there is a threshold/limit/percentage, they need to make that clear both on air, and in writing in their faq's and in their return policy.

I can't imagine a company sending any customer a nasty, snotty, or sarcastic letter. I can imagine them sending a straightforward business letter warning an account is in jeopardy due to an extremely excessive amount of returns.
There are some items that a company takes a total loss on with returns. They can't resell swimsuits, undergarments, makeup, skin care, hair care.
There are retailers that don't close your account or prevent you from buying, but after a certain amount point they won't take back or credit any return. These policies aren't new in the world of retail.

Department stores also have return policies, usually 30 days.
Have you ever heard, or read anywhere that they too will cut you off if you return too much?
No, they don't make that information public, but stores can, do and will cut you off if you abuse their return policy.
And that is a fact.

That's the truth!
It doesn't matter if it's online retail or a brick and mortar store, if someone abused the return policy, the retailer can stop taking any returbs, or give you credit.
And brick and mortar and online retailers don't advertise this or just how much is too much.
So QVC isn't doing anything wrong.

I've been shopping with QVC for over 20 years. I got the letter way back when return shipping was free. I was never terminated. Now that they charge shipping for returns, what is the problem with returning?

It's when people abuse the return policy that it becomes a problem.
Why should any business tolerate those who abuse their return policy?
Answer is, they shouldn't, and they don't, and that's their right to cut off a serial returner.
That goes for QVC, a brick and mortar store, or any online retailer.
