I like Nancy and wish her the best.

Count me as another one that feels that we all make mistakes but our mistakes don't have the potential to kill others and if she were a cameraman or some other profession, I'd be more understanding but she's a doctor!! My guess is they allowed her to save face and come back for a short while so her release would appear more gentle bc remember NBC's track record of letting people go hasn't been stellar. Remember Ann Curry's weepy goodbye from Today, Meet the Press' handover to Chuck Todd, now the Brian Williams and speculation whether he'll come back.

I think thats a wise decision, many were upset about her Ebola nightmare and wanted her fired. On a brighter note, I really liked Brian, but I think Lester Holt is great, he's working on The Nightly News and the Nightline dramas I love to watch. He's a busy guy!

What is up with her? She seems to have some issues.

You have focused on a very important point. I agree with your take on this.

Sure I've made mistakes. Haven't we all? But I don't think any of my mistakes had potentially dire consequences for public health and the safety of lots of people. And her total arrogance about it made it that much worse.
Exactly....she blew a truly wonderful career on pure arrogance. I liked her a lot on GMA and then I began to read some of her reports were questionable... saw some changes which made me not trust her before she left GMA. How she behaved after the Ebola break out...just confirmed what I was beginning to read and see about her.

I never paid her any mind anyway.

May be she'll end up at the network that shall not be named, lol.

I know a network that employs many blondes who are bright...have attended law school, were judges...taught at schools etc. and they are quite bight. One even has a top-rated program. I mean unless one believes because you are blonde...you are dumb?
