I loved those shoes! I had so many colors! If I remember correctly, we didn't even buy them in a shoestore. I think I remember them being in boxes at Walgreens.  My dad was teaching me to drive when they were in style, and wooden clogs.  I remember him making me change my shoes to drive - he was convinced I coudn't drive with them. Of course once I got my license I drove with them all the time.

$88.00!!! I can't believe it! You're right @house_cat, I remember them being about $9.00 too. I loved them and yes,  you could buy them at "drug stores" and "five and dime stores too!".
