When our daughter was on the right coast (DC) she and her roommates loved Cracker Barrel.

She used to send kitchen vintage reproductions to me that she found in their gift shop.

@Noel7 We love CB and eat there when we go to Springfield or Joplin.

There is an online store and they have so many wonderful things.

I always find cool gift items there too.

And love their sour candy ballsHeart

@Moonchilde

Northern CA/the Bay Area is finally getting Dunkin' Donuts.

I'm not big on donuts but I really would like to see what all the fuss is about, especially with the coffee.

Biiiig to-do when a Dunkin' Donuts finally arrived in my neighborhood in SoCal about a year before I moved. I went once, bought a variety of half a dozen, and was severely underwhelmed. Ordinary and not all that fresh. We had local shops that were much better.

How I miss Marie Callendar's (and Baker's Square, each had the same type of menu).  These were family type retaurants that were open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and sold good pies...we often got great holiday pies from them.

I miss Marie's - there was one I went to before I moved at least a couple of times a month. The closest one to me now is about a 45 min. drive :-(
