I recently read an autobiography of Patti Boyd.  Eric Clapton wrote that song about her.  I think he brought back a pair of bell bottom blue jeans from a USA tour.  He said she didn't like them and wrote the song.  For me, "Layla" was his most powerful love song to her.  I want to know what she had to snare George Harrison AND Eric Clapton!
