Well now it's a maybe? because the mayor and the governor are having a disagreement over it.

This morning Governor Cuomo said he will make the decision on NYC schools as well as the rest of NY schools.  It's not a mayor decision, but he'll take what they want in consideration.  Cuomo is going to align with CT and NJ Govenors to decide for the tri state area.  He will do the same for opening businesses.  It will be announced when a decision has been made.  I think that's a very smart move.

my niece is a senior in high school and nephew is a sophomore in college in CT and both are online schooling.

On the other hand, the Governor of Florida is considering opening schools!!!!! His rationale was that no one under 25 had died!
