I heard a news report indicating that his girlfriend and two others are voluntarily quarantined. Considering his experiences, I think it's irresponsible that he didn't self-quarantine after being exposed in Africa.

Absolutely.

Look at Noel spinning. She knows what she argued about the other day has now come to pass. ASYMPTOMATIC at the airport over there can still mean someone is INFECTED.

There is a big difference between being infected and being contagious. Big difference.

That's true but that wasn't the argument being made. Some were saying that taking a temperature at an airport would help nothing. Duncan made it out of the country and came here and so did this dr. If they are INFECTED, they eventually will become symptomatic and INFECTIOUS. Meanwhile, they are already here in this country.

Yes. And get used to it. It is here to stay. At least over time for years to come. Wink We are a global community with people traveling all over the globe frequently.

And there will probably be cases of other viral hemorrhagic diseases that arrive here again as well. In fact, they already have.

You sound almost giddy about that. That's more than a little disturbing. {#emotions_dlg.scared}

Gee, you sound a little different in this post than you did a few days ago. I guess with each new case, those that were beating the "no worries, it's all good" drum will have to pull back. {#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}

I am positively dumbfounded. Pitdakota went from ""there's nothing to worry about"" to ""get used to it"". Wow. Just wow.
