I wonder how many places this guy has been the last few days and how many people he has been around. It seems that his fever was already pretty high and he had gastro symptoms.
He didn't bother to take his temperature either. He waited until he felt really sick and then it got to 103 degrees before he called and reported his symptoms! He also exposed his girlfriend. Wouldn't want him as my doctor.
How do you know those things?
I read it earlier online and it was being discussed on one of the news stations.
And you have no source, right?
Evidence is key, not hearsay.
Sources are hearsay, too. Lots of sources out there reporting different stories. Depends on who you believe.
Look to the evidence, you haven't.

Just unreal. The big question, how did he get through the airport screenings?????
He was asymptomatic on arrival and for a whole week at home up until last night/this morning.

If he touched his nose or mouth he could have had saliva or mucus on his fingers or under his nail beds and the next person putting their fingers into the same ball...well I wouldn't want to be that next person, would you?
He was asymptomatic at the time. Do you know what that means?
Did I miss the response to this question?

You are quoting newspaper reports. Not exactly "evidence"...I'd rather wait and hear it straight from the doctor's mouth.

I am no alarmist but one can spread the disease through sweat.

There has been scientific evidence for 20 years that ebola can only be contracted by contact with bodily fluids by someone exhibiting symptoms of the disease. Science is your friend.

Thank you for confirming what there was a whole thread about the other day. That was the point of NOT allowing people to fly from over there. They are asymptomatic at the airport and then they come back here and are indeed INFECTED. You just proved the point you argued against a few days back.
He was not contagious when he came back. These are simple facts, you should know them by now, but you don't.
Infected is NOT contagious when asymptomatic. Good grief, that has meant nothing to you.

For some odd reason, folks don't consider sweat and/or sneeze spray to be bodily fluids. If you do, your hair is probably on fire. Or, so they say, anyway.
