I love this program. You do get to see what goes on in the hospital, behind the scenes. For all the folks not liking Dr. Oz, I think this program shows a different side of him. He seems like an extremely kind and compassionate man.

I don't have a TV, but thankfully Hulu has all of the 2014 episodes so that I can watch them online on my laptop. 8)

"NY MED" :

What do grandmothers, addicts and celebrities have in common?

All of them seek care at Columbia and Weill Cornell Medical Centers the crown jewels of the prestigious New York-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City.

For a full year ABC cameras had unprecedented access to document the mayhem and the miracles that occur daily in these world class facilities.

Adding a Brooklyn dimension, Lutheran Medical Center also participated.

“NY Med” provides a raw and intimate look at life inside these hospitals where doctors spend far more time with each other than with their families, developing complicated and intertwined personal relationships.

Thanks for that info, JSS!! I knew about Columbia and Presbyterian, but not the others. I am fascinated by this series and I hope it continues. Yes, I agree about their dedication. They are not actors and that cannot be faked.

I agree completely. The TV show is what the producers want and my feeling is that he will walk away from it as soon as his contract is up.

And with season 2 they've also included University Hospital in Newark, NJ. Aren't you from New Jersey, Feline? I think I remember you mentioning it, but I could be mistaken. Hope you had a nice 4th. :-)

You're most welcome, hi there, and hugs, JSS. Smile

I'm riveted by this series as well, plus the previous ones like "Hopkins 24/7". Yep, this is real life, unlike most "reality" shows.

Yes, Cel, I am a "Jersey girl". And so is Ford.

If you don't mind me asking, what state were you born in?

Hope you enjoyed the holiday as well. 8-)

Dr. Oz wasn't in the show this week, and so far, I like the show.
