Re: NURSES, PRESENT AND PAST

My youngest daughter is a Nurse at an assisted Living facility and she works super long, very hard hours, but she loves it and said that it is very gratifying!

My mom also was a nurse, first at a large hospital for many years and then for many years at an alcoholic and rehab facility, and finally in the later years as a home aide nurse, which she loved most of all...

I salute Nurses, as I know they work very hard, and long tough hours, many holidays and sometimes even double shifts!!!!!

Re: NURSES, PRESENT AND PAST

Nurses are very special people   It is not a career I would have chosen; I would not have had the stamina to deal with people in pain and people passing away.

I like the scrubs; and I like that our PCP isn't dressed in the old stiff white coat outfit.

He wears regular clothes and sometimes walks in wearing his soccer team outfit.  LOL

I like that nurses and doctors can relax a bit-I think it brings a sense of ease for the patient.
