Re: NOT THRILLED WITH YANKEE CANDLES

Hi there and good morning!

When traveling with groups on the road, I often would stop at their humongous stores, and the people would go gaga, but I never bought candles from there, as I didn't like their quality.

Hope you get your money back!

I always have a bunch of Yankee Candles. I've not had a noticeable soot problem. Their scents seem strong to me.

I'm currently burning YC Raspberry Cream. I can smell it all over the house. I guess certain scents are stronger than others.

Try googleing KRINGLE CANDLES. The owner of Yankee sold the company a few years back and started Kringle. Yankee hasn't been the same IMHO, but the Kringle candles are wonderful.

Im guessing you can get them on line. The Kringle showroom is about half an hour north of the Yankee Candle flagship store in Deerfield Massachusetts.

I have been trying to find good patchouli scented candles and the Yankee brand just has no scent.

Re: NOT THRILLED WITH YANKEE CANDLES

When I'm home I almost always have a candle burning. I just checked and today's is YC Turquoise Sky. I can smell it all over the downstairs.

I love candles and am quite fussy. I've never noticed a soot layer near the candle.
