Luckily this one is easy to spot as a scam.  Way too many errors.

I did a have memorable day with them long ago.

Let me tell you, they do not travel alone, they at arrive at your workplace before you do, they meet you at the entrance with the owner, then sequester you in a meeting room for the day all the paper files (old times).

I am still scared.

Nothing we did, just a client I had already sent a burning management letter to and told my boss we should not bid again.

Well, the first thing I would ask myself is how is it any division of the POST OFFICE doesn't have my ADDRESS .... but does have my EMAIL ADDRESS?

Just wondering ... lol

There are many errors in this email.  I think many people would realize it was a scam.

I think this is easier to spot as a scam than most. It’s awkward, has misspellings, and makes no sense.

That bogus email is downright amusing.

The U.S. Postal Service, with headquarters  in Wash DC, doesn't email anyone about their mail  and certainly knows how to properly refer to  its own agency.

I hate these scams so much because so many people don't seem to see through them and then get burned.

One place I would start would be to ask oneself - Is there any reason, or any way, that this entity would even have my email address?    Generally, the answer would be 'no', so that's where to start in terms of seeing it for what it is.
