Over time, I'd also be one to try different arrangements and groupings, colors and so on, as others are suggesting, but for now, I get it that you just want the room done. I'd do a mirror over the fireplace and something over the couch (perhaps the picture currently over the fireplace with smaller accents of some kind on each side, since that wall is so long) and then take a rest.

Check out Pottery Barn for some wood framed mirrors, they are lovely!
I had a similar situation in my room only I have a leather sofa with nail head details. My style is more Tuscan, I bought a large tapestry with rod and tassels. It looks amazing. However, with a floral sofa I don't think it would work?

Nice the way it is. I could never have a mirror on the wall, where I am sitting under. (canvas art only). Affraid it will fall on me.
I do like the angled front door. (unusual to see)

The room looks really good as is.
One "decorating" concept or idea that I have tried is to incorporate "Feng Shui" when decorating, which has to do with the flow of positive and negative energy in a room.

To address over the sofa, which was your question, I would look for a floral painting with like colors.
Your furniture is beautiful!
Hard for me to see the actual patterns or even the colors. But it seems to me that they don't compliment each other well. The chairs are 'winter' and the couch is 'summer'.
Since the ceiling is light and airy and white, I would keep the couch in that room and perhaps face it towards the fireplace in cold weather months, but back far enough to see out the window(s) to the side. You could flank the fireplace with two armed dining room chairs if entertaining another couple. It would be the same exact amount of seating as you have now.
In summer, move the couch as you have it now and put the dining room chairs (or something similar) in front of the window.
The upholstered chairs could go in another room? They' d look great in a den or a corner of your bedroom?
Congratulations on your new marriage!

A mirror is what I would do. With the floral couch any art work would clash or be too busy, IMO.

You have had a lot of really good input on here so far! And before going further, congrats on the new marriage, and wishing you many happy years.
My first suggestion would be to play around with things, move them to locations suggested by others, or of your own choosing, and let it sink in and see if something really strikes you. Have fun with it!
It is hard to tell from just a couple of pictures, but, I will offer some things that I would/wouldn't do.
If you choose to leave the sofa where it is, I suggest a mirror over it. It will make the room look bigger, reflect light, and if the view out that window opposite the sofa is nice, will bring that into the room, assuming there is some exposed glass not covered by window coverings. I wouldn't choose a picture for that wall, as the room has enough pattern in it already, in my opinion, and a mirror will be neutral enough if you change the furniture at some point.
If you have decided to live with the upholstered furniture, but don't really care for the colors or patterns and may replace it someday, choose other decor items in the most neutral and patternless choices you can find. Like when someone recommends throws or pillows, remember to not make big investments in those items to 'match' these pieces, if they aren't going to stay 'forever'. Choose something the most neutral you can tie in. And I wouldn't make those fabric additions in any type print, you have enough with the upholstery, in my opinion.
Don't over fill the walls. With the exception of the one behind the sofa, I don't think you need additional things (although different items to replace what is already there, would be ok, if you choose to.)
You have a great fireplace and beautiful door there, and they make a nice statement. No need to crowd the walls, when that ceiling is trying to open up the space and make it airy.
For those suggesting a sofa table behind the sofa, not on that wall. I would only do that if you chose to move the sofa into the middle of the room, facing the fireplace, then put a sofa table behind it, there.
I personally don't care for the picture above the fireplace, and I don't usually care for them resting on the mantel. That fireplace and mantel have such possibility. I'd experiment with lanterns and flameless candles and choose something else for that wall. It should be something that you work to put together as a complete vignette, and it would be something I would spend a considerable amount of effort and money on, to make it the focal point of the room. That and the cost of the mirror for above the sofa, would be the only real money I'd spend if all the other furniture is going to stay for a length of time.
I don't mind the sofa and chairs (I'm assuming the chairs are picking up a particular color in the sofa's floral, but can't tell for sure with the pics), and again, I think that is enough pattern in the room, until the time comes that you might change the upholstery.
The room is lovely and inviting, clean and airy feeling, and looks like it gets plenty of light. That is a great base to build upon, and hope you have fun putting together your new home.

Perhaps a large open metalwork piece - longer in the width. You already have some framed artwork - something a little more open would keep the room from looking too boxed in.
Love your ceiling and beams - really nice touch and really adds a lot to the look of the room.
