Mary Martin was almost exactly the same age as Chenoweth when she ORIGINATED the role.

I don't know who should play PP but I do love Kristin Chenoweth.

I would most definitely watch. I loved seeing Peter Pan with Mary Martin on television when I was growing up. I also loved the Disney cartoon version.

Now, I did NOT think I would like Robin Williams as Peter Pan in Hook. I thought he was way too old to pull it off but pull it off, he did. He was great. I loved it when the boy who was leading the group knelt down with the sword and said "You are the Pan." Now I love that version too and I think Dustin Hoffman is great as Hook. I love his sidekick "Smee". A very good movie. Now I want to go watch it.

Peter Pan is a great story. I would love to see a live musical version. I hope they do it, no matter who is cast, male or female.
