This is a national holiday for me!

Ice cream is way up in the food pyramid! @ 5 miles from my home is an old fashioned ice cream store which uses milk from it's own free fed, hormone free, antibiotic free cows!

Yes, I got it!! I am hopeless. I wanted more of the Earl gray, as it is limited addition. so I ordered a few pistachio amaretto.. It is really good Loaded with big chunks of roasted pistachios!! The amaretto is smooth and flavorful. I was in a frenzy when I got it,dying to sample!! The stuff was so frozen you can't budge a sliver off. Amazes me how pints of ice cream can sit in a UPS for 2 days traveling half the state and still be so frozen you can't eat it!! LOL! After it sat out for 20 minutes I managed a spoonful and was immersed in bliss! The sad part is there is no coconut cream! I was so sad. I am going to email to see if this is temporary, seasonal or a permanent thing

Oh nooo! No more coconut cream? I hope that is temporary. They must know you by first name, yes? hehe

I hope to make an order soon. Yeah, it is weird how they can get it to you frozen HARD after two days in an un-air conditioned truck (at least the trucks here don't have a/c).

I'm glad that I'm within 2 days ground from there so that I don't have to pay for 2day air!

I only have one pint of the Toasted Coconut left and that is all, except for my Haagen Dazs sorbets. I love those almost as much as the McConnell's ice creams, so they are handy for a few bites after dinner to cool down.

My last Peanut Butter was was kind of salty, with large clumps of salty pb, and I didn't love it as much. I guess each pint can be different.
