OK, LOL, I am addicted to the show; especially Deacon(Chip Esten){#emotions_dlg.lol}

Last Spring I had an opportunity to take a non-credit Adult Education class, in Television and it's Impact. I joined a group that was focused on Prime Time programming and picked my favorite show, Nashville, to follow. Our group was smaller than some others, but, that made it fun and interesting.

This Fall, the class is being offered, in a slightly different format; we'll focus on a Network (I picked ABC).

We'll discuss different shows, but, if we don't watch every show being discussed, we can limit our participation; again, it's a non credit class.

So, here is the first Nashville question, we'll discuss it, when we meet again, in two weeks, I'd love to hear what some other Nashville fans, on the boads think, too:

Chris Carmack(Will) has been promoted to series regular. Talented and very ambitious, he's determined to make it in country music, and if that means hiding the fact that he's gay,so be it. What do you think of the storyline?

+ I really like the Will Character, I think his storyline will be intriguing and kudos to Nashville for stepping outside the box and bringing it.

+Nashville is on ABC, not HBO, call me old fashioned, call me what you want, but, I don't expect to see this type of storyline on network TV, never mind, a show produced by the Disney Group. It's not for me, I won't be watching; too bad, I liked the show.

+Not sure. It's interesting to imagine the struggles of a gay talent, in a basically conservative entertainment field; but how will it play? Is Chris Carmack a strong enough actor to make it compelling? Not sure this storyline will hook me, but, I'm curious about it.
