I used to live by two dams on the Pend Orielle river. The population was very small and they sold all the power not needed by the local PUD to the grid for others to use. You may have been using our dam's power and you wouldn't even know it.

I guess that makes you the total expert. But don't tell me I'll be okay because I get my power from Grand Coulee and the Columbia because that is patently UNTRUE.
OK, If your source goes out are you saying you will have no power?
I am saying exactly what has been reported to us by officials. If we don't get a heck of a lot of snow soon, there will be a shortage of electricity in this area.

Okay you win. I'm not going to argue with you on this. Have it all your way. I know nothing about the state I have lived in since I was born. I'm done.

RCG, good idea. the dog with a bone mentality is a total waste of time.
It's too bad that you aren't given the courtesy of knowing about your home state.

I shouldn't even have responded to post #72. It was a blanket statement that simply did NOT pertain to my situation at all. Sometimes it's just easier to sit on your hands and not say a word.

I certainly care about the world my grandchildren will be living in, even though I will be gone.
