N. CALIFORNIA EARTHQUAKE, ANYONE FEEL IT AROUND 4:00 AM OR SO?

It was pretty strong, but probably not very high on the scale, had me cluthching the side of my bed.  I would have thought my dogs would ahve barked, even though they were sleeping, but they never made a sound.

Reportedly it was 4.4 but for the first time ever, I slept through it.

@Noel7  Wish I had, lol, hate them.  I just happened to be awake, as usual.  It felt good sized.

2:39 am I believe, and 4.4 to 4.5. Just by pure chance I was awake, and did (just barely) feel it 100 miles away. If I hadn’t already been awake I don’t think it would have wakened me, or I wouldn’t have known what woke me, as 100 mi distant it was barely for a few seconds.

I felt something, thought “hmm wonder if that was a quake”, waited 15-20 min before going online, to find that yes, it was an earthquake, centered just outside Berkeley.

If you are within a few miles of Berkeley it would have been a fair jolt or roll. To me it felt a little like a 50-50 combo, but I haven’t read whether locals thought it was a roller or a shaker.
