Mystery In The Night Sky

We were awakened in the middle of the night by a sound that I have never heard before.

It started on one side of the house and continued on the other. It sounded like a train ripping through the sky, almost like the way people describe a tornado coming through. It was like no plane that I have ever heard. It was a beautiful night so it was not weather related.

The house shook and car alarms were going off throughout the neighborhood. It was disconcerting to say the least.

There was nothing on the local news this morning. I am in the DC area so strange things can occur but in all the years that I have lived here, nothing like this before.

The mystery continues....
