Re: My returns aren't being processed

[ Edited ]

It's gotten so bad with returns that I don't return anythng anymore.  I'm never credited properly so I have basically given up with QVC.

I recently received two identical tops, different colors that I ordered. One was in pristine condition, folded nicely in a bag.  New.  The other was obviously a return, rolled in a ball and shoved into a very small bag.  No barcode, wrong size. When I took it out of the bag, it smelled of body odor. Someone wore it and decided to return it. Thanks QVC!  I live to spend $50 on someone else's junk return.

It gets better.  Two years ago I returned a handbag in January. I was never credited for my return. I called and called CS and constantly got a runaround. The system is down.  I can't check that for you right now. Check your credit card bill next month. What?!!!  I eventually gave up.

This past week I received an email from CS telling me they processed my return. What return?  I didn't return anything. Oh, it was the handbag. I'm getting a whole 0.01 cent!  🤣

For those of you who never have a problem, great. I wish you continued success. For the rest of us, well those are the breaks.

@hannah64   Oh, yes...on a consistent basis.  That's why I comopletely stopped shopping at QVC!

They promote contacting the "social team" with some info to expedite things; however, to me, it's an additional hassle that I choose to avoid by shopping elsewhere.  It's indicative of "mind set" that projects a level of customer "dissatisfaction" that's not commensurate with what I believe is great customer service.

I still shop at HSN from time to time as their return process is more user friendly.

I found out the hard way, after losing the return shipping on more than one defective item, that with HSN you have to notify CS before you send the return.  Otherwise, the staff in the returns center will automatically deduct the return shipping from your refund, despite the form saying "defective".  I only learned this after the last return I did, got dinged for the shipping and contacted CS.  I don't recall seeing it mentioned anywhere on their website.

And I had such a bad experience with HSN regarding a pair of boots I ordered - they sent the wrong color; I sent them back for an exchange the next day.  They sent the same boots back to me, saying I was outside the "30-day return window"!  I sent them back, they sent them back to me...this went on for over a month until I sent a registered letter to Mindy Grossman (who never replied, but at least it stopped and I eventually got a refund).

A CS rep (live chat) asked me, if I still wanted the boots in the color I ordered..I said NO!

I don't call that easier or more user friendly.  I've seldom shopped with HSN since.
