My poor kitty

We had a spectacular electric storm last night; lots of thunder and lightning. This is in western Washington (state) where that doesn't happen much so it's unusual.

I thought my cat BooBoo was unaffected by it but I think it must have scared him more than I realized. Today he's very clingy and seemingly afraid of his own shadow. I've tried to keep him close by, petting, cuddling, and sweet-talking him, to help him feel more secure.

Poor little guy, he really IS afraid of his own shadow. He heard a loud noise today and nearly jumped out of his skin.
