I have said it before and I will say it again...I bet you are a great teacher. The kind whose students come up to you years from now and remind you of what they won't forget about you. What a gift. It takes a special person to teach. We have several in my husbands family and I love every one of them for what they do.

Hopefully, I've created an environment that will put a smile on the faces of all of my kidlets. It makes me happy so I'm sure it will make them happy too.

My "superpower":
I have both child & animal 'magnetism'.
Blessings inherited from my mom that I've tried to hone.
Especially since they're two of my passions.
Being a Pisces (3/13) helps as we are:
*the 12th and final sign of the Zodiac, which makes us the most psychic
*one of the most intuitive and empathetic
Thanks for helping our children, and doing it well.

Nah...it will take me forever to figure out how to change it out 😳

Depending on the age of the child, you would be probably teaching writing skills as to how to improve a child skills in getting their point across with words.
Thanks for the advice. I'm a reading specialist and very good at teaching kids how to write.
Nouns, when to use upper case, lower case, etc...that's important stuff. I fear people will start to write just like they text. Yikes! You know what you are doing, I have no doubt. :-)

Lots of open storage, bookcases full of books on every wall, desks in groups of 4 or 5.
Where do the frogs come in? Unless some of your posts have been deleted I'm not seeing how you're using the frogs. General bulletin boards or the calendar board? Did you go hunting for stuffed frogs (Kermit???) to place on the bookshelves? Nametags? Do you have a decent teacher supply store where you could go on a major hunt? Are you allowed to have things hanging from the ceiling? Ellison machine? Craftstore for the stamps?
I have a mental picture of the traditional classroom and I'm wondering how it all fits in. Grouping of the desks makes life easier but are they the older types with the top that lifts? Or are they the other kind where you practically have to sit on the floor to find anything? Disliked both and was glad we had tables....

I deleted some things from my description. I don't need to say too much about it.
Our desks are the kind that don't open at the top. Yes, there's a big teacher store close where I've already stocked up on things. I also order things from amazon. Yes, we're allowed to hang things from the ceiling (there are people who aren't allowed??)

We had to ask permission first, then put in a work order for a maintenance man to come in with a ladder and do the work. Apparently we weren't considered skilled enough to climb a ladder ourselves. Either that or I got caught standing on a table one too many times-
I had wanted a better mental picture of what you had in mind with the frogs and such, that's all. I'd be starting all of that in another week without the benefit of a decent teacher supply store locally. None. Nada.

We can't have anything hanging/attached 18" from the ceiling; it's a fire hazard.
