Love it...interesting about the RA and hair loss, my mom has RA and has been losing her hair, she thought it was due to surgery she had back in March, I’m wondering if it’s the RA..??  She’s had it though since 1999...and just this year she started losing her hair.

@Karie2022

With me, I think it's a "perfect storm" of hypothyroidism (when it first started thinning), then RA, then prednisone, and then aging (ugh).  I have white hair all over everything in my room, after I get dressed I have to use a clothes brush on what I'm wearing.  It's in my bathdrain everytime I shower.

The wig won't protect me from any of that, I realize.  But hopefully when I go out, I won't have to worry about it so much.

Well it’s a gorgeous wig, I’m sure you will look stunning in it!!😀

@Karie2022

It might be the meds she's taking for the RA.  As I wrote, with me it's a combination of things.

No, but I just received a notification from the post office that I would receive it in two days, probably Monday.  Fingers crossed!!

Maybe if it looks good on me, I'll post a photo.

@LilacTree  This is really a great style.  I am tempted to get one myself.

Wear it in good health!

Lilactree, check with your doctor of course, Biotin is a B vitamin and stimulates hair growth.  Works very well.  Also strengthens nails.

@katiemichelle

I will, thank you.  I take B12 and D-3, but not biotin.  I think I'm too far gone, but I'll give it a try.

We are all waiting in anticipation of your new wig.  You are so lucky to have your daughter who can trim it if necessary.  Can't wait to see you wearing it!!!

is RA some type of arthritis?

It's Rheumatoid Arthritis. I have Osteoarthritis in my back and just had an mri.

@Bella2022

The pain and disfigurement are pretty much the same.  But osteo doesn't affect one's internal organs.  It is limited to the joints.  I don't think it causes hair loss either, but maybe some of the meds you might take would.
