My mother said to always wear nice underwear in case of an accident. My late grandmother, who lived to be 101 years, told that "only trash goes barelegged."  It took me some years to get over that one.

Don't talk with your mouth full.

Get your elbows off the table.

Well some are going to faint, but and I will find the journal it is in but medically they are saying now its best not to wear undies if you are a lady to keep infection away...........some find it gross.........some  find it liberating..........if you are always clean...............my mother should have invented baby wipes because we have been using something liket hat since we were very young and I passed that on to my son...............we are stil baby wipe people...........it looks bad when you see lines in ladies clothing showing the underwear lines.............some people have stopped wearing them 30 years or more ago............but you have to be clean.

I'm not going to faint, but seriously...I'm not going to give up wearing underwear and use baby wipes every time I have to use the restroom!  There are many styles of ladies undies that don't show panty lines

What infection are you talking about?   I think you've got a better chance of getting "whatever" if your panty fabric is nylon or polyester.   All cotton panties are supposed to be better, and moisture evaporates better.   Not losing any sleep over this one.

Cotton underwear is cooler and more breathable for sure. Women with yeast infections and other types could probably benefit from wearing them....at least part of the time.  I also don't like leggings for that reason. It is best to let the body breathe as much as you can.  I gave up panty hose except for special occassions for the same reason years ago and haven't had any type of infections for 35 yrs.!
