Oh my goodness.  That was brave of you.  I don't know what I would have done.  I have encountered small garden snakes but not close enough to do anything.  I really admire you.  But keep those other pictures coming.  It makes my day.

@luvmybeetle  thank you for your kind words...I had to kill the snake...but I didn.t like it, and I gave it a proper burial

Yeah, but - so cute! 

I wish I got to see more wildlife on my property.    Aside from my beloved birdies, best I can do is an occasional squirrel. Oh, and one day I got a pic of a little bitty lizard.      They're all cute to me.

Sometimes I've also seen raccoons.  I guess they have enjoyed nesting under the ginormous evergreen tree in my front yard.   Also cute, but I do know to stay away.     They get scary.
