Hi fourpaws56--thanks so much for sharing your pictures. You are so very lucky to experience nature in all it's glory. I'm sure your grandkids love it too! I remember the pic of the bear on your deck after the wildfires. Enjoy seeing your pics so much. Keep em coming! Take care. Kathy

@dex  I live in California about 15 miles from Yosemite National Park. I see mountain lions at least once or twice a month

@fourpaws56.   I've wondered about you but couldnt remember your name.  Was your home affected by the horrible fire near Yosemite?

@fourpaws56

I am a huge fan of wild turkeys.  I'm in Southern Maryland and we have them, but they are VERY illusive.  Sometimes, I just hear them "talking" at a distance in the woods.  I love their conversations!

One year, a male strutted around on my road trying to catch the attention of a passing female.  He was magnificent, but she was unmoved. Cat LOL

My husband will call me as he is leaving in the morning to say he has spotted our "turkey girl" strolling through the field.

I've felt for a long time now and even said to my husband, "the most beautiful places in the U. S.  are home to all the wild animals.  Great pictures.  But be careful!!

LOL to your coyote story @Maltichonmom17!

@Witchy Woman your story about turkeys reminded me about a news segment that was on tv a year or so ago.  There was a wild turkey on the loose somewhere in Jersey and it was chasing a mailman around.  I think the news people were warning folks to stay indoors or something like that.  Hahaha  Because of this, I thought turkeys were dangerous. Woman Surprised

@fourpaws56dont want to put pressure on you but I am really enjoying your pics and look forward to more.I didn’t like the snake massacre but I totally get that it was in self defense.Your grandchildren are so adorable and they need to be protected.

As beautiful as he is, that's pretty scary to have a mountain lion that close!

about a week ago there was a mama and two cubs at the end of my driveway, I was walking to the street to the mail box and saw them I quietly turned around and headed back towards the house...I admit I was a little nervous!
