I disagree completely about wearing donated clothing being rags ...also called resaleing or repurposed clothing.
I buy traditionally this way. There's choices, and very often much lower in cost. However, give me a clearance choice at a store and I will purchase there too.
However, I give clothing and items to resale stores. Goodwill and or Salvation Army or a local resale store that supports a cause I don't give anything torn stained or just poor taste. So it goes to say that what you give away is what you would wear is not rags.
I'm putting some action to minimalism and just having what I need. I gave much away and they were all good clothing to repurpose for others.
No stars here but I'm not into waste.
