Yesterday morning he came tearing in the house and galloped down the hall, and dropped a DEAD MOTH at the foot of my bed. What a good kitty! to bring me presents like this. BooBoo will be 10 years old on the 7th of this month but his age doesn't seem to be slowing him down at all. What a sweet little guy! I wonder...could he be entering his 2nd kittenhood? He's officially in his senior years so I suppose it's possible.
I'm (well, actually the whole family is) trying to enjoy him as much as possible and spend as much time with him as possible. His health has always been delicate and I wonder how much longer he'll be with us--he has some health problems he needs to his vet about. So, for as long as he's with us, we plan to enjoy him and make his life as enjoyable as possible.
Happy birthday, BooBoo, and thank you for bringing us all the amazing presents!

Happy Birthday BooBoo! I love to read about "senior" kitties that still love to play like a kitten.
My precious Max was 21 when he went to the Rainbow Bridge. Up until the year that he passed, he continued to run, jump and play just like he did when he was little. He overcame many health issues, including a major urinary tract blockage that almost took him from me when he was 12. I was amazed at how he could still jump so high at his age. Every year I had to decorate the lower portion of my Christmas tree with "soft sculpture" ornaments as he like to "undecorate" the tree while I was sleeping and bring the ornaments upstairs to me in bed! If I did not wake up right away when my alarm clock would buzz, he would jump up on my highboy/chest of drawers and dive onto the bed to wake me. He passed in 2009 and I still miss him every day.
I wish you and BooBoo many many happy and healthy years together.

If only I could remember the birthdays of our present 11 indoor only felines. I have enough trouble calling them by their right names. And for some reason I can't remember the name of the OP as it keeps changing, either that or a lot of members have named their felines BooBoo.
Anyways, happy birthday to your kitty.

Happy Birthday BooBoo.
John, you made me laugh. At breakfast we were talking about our cats manic behavior this morning. I called one of our kitties by a long gone kitty's name. Just another senior moment.

My cat kept staring at the ceiling yesterday and I looked up a saw a spider on the ceiling. I couldn't reach it. Later last night I saw kitty staring at the ceiling again and there it was but closer this time. I got the bug spray out and got him, yea. They are good little detectives.

It's better than the other kind of ""present"".
