I either take a photo or look for a picture online, of what I need from the store, and text it to my husband. It's just easier, lol.

@Ohio St8 I thought it was sweet and it made me smile.

I'm sure glad he didn't do anything reeeally bad. *shudder*

it was a cute story, thanks for sharing. No need for the drama and there was no bashing of the DH as I can read.
Maybe it was because it was LIME to cause the uproar.
Red jello never causes a scene -
Green M&Ms too -
Kermit was right, it isn't easy being green.
Pass the lime jello over - LOVE IT
My favs are the lemon lime flavors and that includes lollipops.

I show pics to DH. LOL!!! He would be at the store looking forever if I did not do that.

i think it's a cute story. just goes to show how thoughtful this husband is even if it is a bit misplaced.

Throw in some fruit and mini marshmallows and top it with whipping cream, and then give to him to enjoy. He is a keeper!! I love lime, but Key Lime Pie is a much better choice.

Why embarrass the poor man?
He tried, he was thinking of you when he got it. Doesn't that count for anything?
There are widows out there that would love to have their husband back, just so he could "screw up" the shopping list.
That wasn't the point of her telling the story...

Big difference in lime jello, and vanilla pudding, funny,no need for people making this into something else.

I think op meant this to be cute, silly little story that would make us all smile. I know I did. I once sent my hubby out for eggs and the Sunday paper and he returned with kitten and a mop...lol We had that cat for 18 years, he passed away last summer. It's sad that for so many, it degenerated into insulting and degrading men. That's incredibly sad. Women who wouldn't tolerate a "my wife is so stupid joke' have no problem at all with making men the butt of joke.
