.My first hand painted Christmas Ornament.....more to paint!

My beloved mother-in-law passed away in June at age 93.  I was able to get a book of poetry that she had, with 100 famous poems.  So I am starting now to paint about 40 ornaments.  I'm also painting a short verse of a poem on the back, from her book.   Then they'll go to each family member.

Here's my first ornament of a snowy owl.

My dad passed away 12/28/15   I wonder if I could figure out something like that for my family

I tell everyone that God paints using my hands.  I am amazed at what is painted.  I don't know where it comes from.  He really is the artist.

@Mary Bailey Start thinking about something special about him.  Did he love trees?  Have everyone plant a tree.  Fisherman?  Paint a fish on an ornament.  Just close your eyes and think about a simple time that brings a smile to your face.

LoriMl...I don't know what I can say that I haven't said to you before.  You are so talented and I love the way you say that God is painting through your hands.  You are truly blessed with your talent as well as being a caring person.  Wishing you and your loved ones a Very Happy New Year.
