I got dumped on Christmas Eve one year. Not a good feeling. It's not just that he dumped me but it how and when he did it.

As hard as it was and probably still is for the young guy to accept, he's probably better off. First of all, 20 is too young and even more to the point. odds are she was never in it for the long haul. He might well have decided he wasn't either.
