My computer did not come with a manuel?

and I can't find the manuel. My computer is Compaq Presario CQ57-339WM Notebook PC. I want to know about this computer..do I run on a battery? DO I keep it pluged in? What do I do? When I call the company I can't understand the country person I am talking to.
