My cat needs an ID tag & it must be small but sparkly!

Hi, pet lovers!

From lots of reading here, over the months, I know ya'll are the folks to ask:

Can you recommend a vendor for a small ID tag for a medium-sized cat, to allow at the least a phone number engraved on it? And, yes, although I confess I'm not into Jeanne Bice's clothes (not that there's anything wrong with them, mind you!), I have always loved things that sparkle, and I was hoping to find a tag with a tiny touch of sparkle.

I already have a good collar, and leash, and she's very comfortable wearing it and she's learning... slowly... to walk with the leash. We shall see if that turns out to be workable. i found the collar and leash at PetSmart, but they didn't have good choices for feline ID tags.

My cousin found her on the porch, a little kitty completely mesmerized by the bird feeder -- well, probably by the birds on the feeder. The little thing was half-starved, was about 8 months old, and after lots of checking with neighbors my cuz couldn't find anyone who recognized her. The call went out, because sweet cuz's husband really doesn't like cats (they've always had lovely golden retrievers, but he just can't get into felines -- oh, well!).

I had lost my 16-year-old black cat after much treatment of his thyroid problems -- dear little fellow. After losing him, I had thrown away all things related to him, because I was just so sad. When I saw the email about this little one, a scruffy shorthair from the woods near the lake, I had a feeling it was time to adopt. My family has always had rescue cats as long as I can remember.

So, she has never been outside since that, and it has been a while, but in case she decides to streak out the door at some point I'd like to know someone could find my phone number on her tag and get her back to me.

Just so you know, on her next visit to the vet I plan to ask to get one of the ID chips injected, but I think the tag would be good for someone to see, quickly, where she belongs if she's lost.

THANKS! I hope ya'll can help me. Smile
