I didn't know this forum was here. I posted this in the Viewpoints forum. Yesterday one of my cats woke me up at 4am, I figured she wanted to eat, so I got up. As I passed the other bedroom I found my other kitty had passed away over night. Both of them are seniors, 18 y/o and have hyperthyroidism. I knew that this day would come, but it isn't any easier. Now I am worried that the other one will stop eating from grief. I did let her see her "sister" and she sniffed her before I took her to be cremated, so I believe she knows she's gone. I'm just worried about her, they'd been together for 18 years. Very sad. Thanks for listening.
