@Laura14 Nice you didn't need to order that part from the Q or it would still be in transit.Good to know that you will be getting your car back soon and life can return to your normal.Are you getting attached to the courtesy vehicle yet?They usually give cars that are more expensive than the one being repaired hoping that you will fall in love and purchase.I had a salesperson drive expensive cars up my driveway and sit with the engine running...when I came out to see what the heck was going on he would say...how about taking this one for a drive!This was years ago though and we were known at that dealership for trading in regularly.

@dex Ha ha ha ha ha!! I know that's right!

I HATE the rental car. They gave me one that was ten feet long and a hybrid and no key and no gear shift and shot lasers and warmed places of my body that I didn't think any mechanical item should get close to....it was not okay.

They swapped me out the second day for something that is still way above my head but at least I have a gear shift. I am parking in Siberia in the parking lots because I am scared to death of it.

Today is the first day it rained. I literally came out of my seat when I left the garage and the wipers automatically turned on!! I had touched nothing! I still have no idea how the car knew to turn on the wipers on a rainy day.

I know this car is going to lock me inside and drive to a dungeon some place. It's just biding it's time for the perfect opportunity. If I disappear, call Mazda.

I don't like these new fangled cars. I embrace my age and I can not wait to get my stick shift mini Fiat back home with wipers I actually twist my wrist to turn on and off.

@Laura14 your other posts motivated me to stop looking on line for over two months at cars and go start the search in person. Well I am on day 10 of my new 2018 Ford Escape. Same make, same model, and same color as my 2003. They said they should do a commercial she comes in every 15 years and buys a New Car! I did not realize how ready I was for a new car and I thank you again to for the courage to just go do it or to do something!! My other car had low mileage (under 60,000) but old was old.

Hope yours is ready soon and even better than before.
