The cruise is great, but it may have more meaning to you if that was for your 40th.  You have plenty of time to save extra money to make it really special.

I'll agree with that!  At my advanced age, I'm sort of over the birthday celebration thing.  But really out to dinner or go have a chili dog has been my "want" for about 20 years now.  It's no big deal to me.

I don't need to do anything I'm afraid of, nothing else left now to prove to myself, so that would be out.  I would HATE a cruise, so that is out, and I quit buying logo t-shirts years ago.

So I guess for me, the chili dog is in the lead.  That's my suggestion!

You should do what feels right and wonderful for you.  Do what will make your birthday a great day.  Not sure why you are asking other people what you shoud do.  Hope you figure out what will make your birthday special for you.
