@Beautiful life,  You will need to go thru a grieving period and it's different for everyone.  You still need to live life so celebrate your son's birthday and have a good time.  Unfortunately, death is part of life's package.  So sorry for your loss.

Please know that I'm thinking of you.  I lost my Dad when I was 16 and my mother 15 years ago.  It's a hole, it will always be a hole.

You just learn to live with it.  I understand your pain.  To this day there are times when I think, "Wait til my mother hears this or that".
