I ordered a baby shower gift online on 6/21. The company sells many baby items and the website appeared legit. I followed the Tracking with final notice that it was out for delivery on 7/3 however I never received it. I called the company with a phone number in California but got a vm that no one was available and I was not able to leave a msg.
I then sent a email to the company via yahoo and got a response back from yahoo stating the email was sent 4 times but was a failure. I double checked the email address, went to the company website on 7/7 and sent a email via their "contact us" box with no response.
I have now contacted my credit card company and filed a complaint for the return of my $60 !
I have never had a problem like this before ! Has anyone had this sort of thing happen before and if so how did it turn out ? I have a ring doorbell and I was home on 7/3. Did you get your money back ??

no, not really...but I have had trouble receiving packages. There have been pkgs that never arrived, and I was given a bit of a run around several years ago. Is there any chance this company is based in China or another county? I did order from Etsy not too long ago, it said shipped from Philadelphia. After weeks of waiting, I come to find out, yes it is shipped out from PA. BUT, only when they get it from India. I gave up buying jewelry there, because most comes from overseas with warehouse based here takes forever. I mean nearly a month! And that one time the ring was not in package. He refunded money. But it was such a waste of time, and I needed birthday gift.
may I ask @Goodie2shoes What web site? Maybe we can do some sleuthing for you

My situation was not the same as your except the inability to contact seller about my problem. I called CITI to get my money back and explained my inability to contact seller which made me suspicious. CITI took over and when they had no success with seller either my money was refunded.
The banks are aware that on line purchasing is fraught with issues. I bet they will work with you. Best of luck.

Key words "website appeared legit". If you have to ask yourself that question, it usually isn't, especially if you found it on social media.
One thing I do when I come across a new website or ad is check the "about us" and the "shipping and delivery" sections. They usually tell me what I need to know.

The tracking email does not say if it came from overseas, it just says it departed the original facility but it does say it went through NJ and Chicago before arriving in St. Louis. The company is called Cuddle Baby. I had never heard of it, just browsing online and came across it and I found the
cutest baby items.

@Goodie2shoes sounds like it could be lost. I might just put in a complaint with your credit card. I have Amex and have done this many times when I don't receive item, or it is broke. I try to reach company, no one answers and an email is fruitless . I can't be bothered to keep trying for a week. Amex files a complaint with them. They alway, refund money then and there, then they investigate Sometimes they get response from vendor and solve problem. And sometimes even they have no luck.

The website was recommended by a friend who had purchased baby items before so I never thought about reading the "about us" section. It was not from social media.

Cuddle Baby looks like a legitimate company. It appears you sent the email to the wrong address. Here is the information:
email: support@cuddle-baby.com
17595 Harvard Avenue, Irvine, CA, 92614 United States
Monday to Friday between 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
I read that their items come from all over the world. So, if it is shipping internationally, it could take awhile.. If you go to their website cuddle baby, you can submit your complaint online. Just go to contact us and it will take you to the form..I would try again giving all your information so they can track your order.Hope this helps.

That's why it's good to pay with PayPal if possible because if you don't receive what you ordered they will refund your money.
