One of my 4 year old Siberians recently has been becoming quite a little problem because all of a sudden (last week) has been wanting to be on my lap so much that I am having a hard time doing anything but holding him while he purrs. I have even tried to ignore him when he jumps on the couch while I am trying to work but he will rub his head into my hands and not let me alone.
This action has gotten more exaggerated since Monday when he and his brother got their semi-annual shower, manicure, and shave.
Previously the above similar actions would be when he would want to eat, but now all he wants to do is cuddle and knead me and purr and as I said, I am having a hard time working online.
Perhaps I am attributing human actions to this feline, but I would like these actions to really become less.. how do I do this without hurting his feeling? He seems to act like a young tot and I am ignorant as to how to deal but I need to get my work done yesterday.
