My Keurig 2.0 is defective... :(

So, I received my 2.0 on August 28th... and it has worked pretty well... there have been a couple of hiccups (it has not filled up a mug a couple of times) and this morning it just went kaput. My husband made his cup of coffee just fine and I put my K-cup in and a tiny bit of water dribbled out after I hit the button. I turned it off, I changed the water, I tried to run a clean/hot water cycle (just dribbled), I took everything out and cleaned it, I reset it to factory settings, I did everything I could think of and it would not dispense water. I looked on the QVC reviews and found a few where people have had the same issue... so it's going back before my 30 days is up because I don't want to get into a game of sending it back, only to receive another defective machine. I will be patient and wait a few months for the flaws to be worked out and make-do with my old and decrepit (but still functioning) 5-year-old Keurig for a little while longer.

I did really like the new machine for the 3 weeks that it worked! /sadface Smiley Sad

That's a bummer, knocking on wood mine is still performing like it's supposed to.

Did you try Keurig's customer service? I own 2 minis and when I had trouble with the second one I called Keurig directly. The CS service rep I got was wonderful. I was causing my own problem - would also have returned my machine had it been their issue, but years later I'm still using both of my initial Keurig purchases.

Ella3, I am so sorry to hear that! Keurig has a 1 year warranty, FYI. There's no reason why it should conk out this soon.

I bought a K75 Platinum from Costco, despite the reviews. Sure enough, it malfunctioned within 2 months. I returned it and got a K65 from Target that I use at work.

My reliable K40 is at home and works perfectly! Loud, but perfect.

Get your flu shot...because I didn't.

Instead of simply begging for a new, disposable Keurig, I would hope that at least a few women are telling CS what they think about the shoddy, overpriced Chinese kwap masquerading as a coffee "brewer."

Try a percolator for coffee, it's the best and works every time Smiley Wink

We have a Keurig K60, got it a good while back at our local BJ's.. it started acting up too but after I took the water filter out, it started working perfectly. We have whole house filtered water anyway so I thought that has to be the only thing because the water is pulled through the filter. This worked for us and so far so good.

Re: My Keurig 2.0 is defective... :(

I was thinking of ordering the 2.0. I already have the one that uses K-Cups at our summer home. And the Vue at home.

I thought that since I can't get the Vue cups without ordering them from Kurig that would get the 2.0.

After reading the reviews I am rethinking it. Both my machines sometimes only drop half the water that I have it set for so I am used to that. But my husband has a Big Bubba cup that the more ounces would work great for him. And since he don't use it all the time having regualr and big kcups would be nice. But I have more choices with the one I have now even if we sometimes have to run more water through........

Now, how long will it be before there is one that has it all? Sort of like Apple..........LOL.......
